Entries allowed:
Class 1 to 6:- Clubs may have up to a maximum of 3 entries per class.
Class 7:- Clubs may have up to a maximum of 2 entries.
Marks will be awarded as per Marking & Points Guide
Props are only to be placed and removed by the competing skater / team for that class (should take no more than 30 secs max to place)
Levels will be (as of 1st June 2017):
Class 1: Solo: Level 1 and Under – 1 ½ to 2 mins 10 secs Max
Intended for the beginner, any age. Must not hold any level 2 Free Skate
Class 2: Solo: Level 2 to Under Level 6 – 2 to 2 ½ mins Max
Any age. Must not hold any level 6 Free Skate.
Class 3: Solo: Level 6 & Over – 2 to 2 ½ mins Max
Any age.
Class 4: Solo: adult 1 ½ to 2 mins Max
Aged 21 and over
Class 5: 2,3,4’s: Level 1 and Under – 2 ½ to 3 mins Max
Intended for the beginner, any age. Must not hold any level 2 Free Skate
Class 6: 2,3,4’s: Level 2 & Over – 2 ½ to 3 mins Max
Any age.
Class 7: Group: (5 or more skaters) Any Level – 3mins
Any age.
Clarification of levels: Skaters may choose to skate at levels above those passed, but cannot skate below their level. Coaches who are eligible skaters and are members of the Ice Club, may skate in Classes: 3 , 6 and 7 only.
Skaters can only enter one class per section (3 sections are - Class 1 to 4: Solo; Class 5 & 6: 2,3,4’s; Class 7 Group).
Synchronised Competition – Sue Buckingham Cup
This is separate to the Artistic Competition and will not count towards the InterClub Trophy
To allow teams at different levels to skate against each other, judging will be marked as follows:
Technical: 4 elements from elements required. Only Judges and Competition Secretary will know which elements are being marked.
Interpretation/Presentation: Normal criteria apply
